Halal Assessment & Certification Institute Pvt. Ltd. (HACI), Pakistan, in collaboration withHalal Feed & Food Inspection Authority (HFFIA), The Netherlands has organized a basiclevel training workshop i.e.
"Halal Awareness: Trends & Opportunities" in The Universityof Haripur on 22/09/2016. The workshop included 100 participants from industry, academiaand research organization.

(HACI), Pakistan, along with Halal Feed& Food Inspection Authority (HFFIA), The Netherlands and in collaboration with The UVASBusiness School and Center for Applied Policy Research in Livestock (CAPRIL) of theUniversity of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore organized a basic level – 1 training coursefor "Halal Food Industry – Management and Opportunities", on 28/09/2016.
Dr Muhammad Jahangir is known as an expert in the area of Halal assessment from HalalAssessment & Certification Institute Pvt. Ltd. and also a Halal Technical member of PakistanStandards & Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) alongwith Mr Abdul Qayyoem from HalalFeed & Food Inspection Authority, The Netherlands delivered lectures in the one day extensivetraining workshop on the topic of Halal Industry, management and their challenges in Pakistan.They said food is becoming much more complex and critical generally for ethical consumers,while specifically for Muslims. Halal and Tayyab becomes much critical when we are dealingwith amino acids, genetically modified foods, derivatives of fatty acids, microbial products, etc,they added.

"Halal FoodIndustry Management and Opportunities" at University of Management Technology(UMT),Lahore on 29/06/2016. The participants were the representatives of Lahore Chamberof Commerce & Industries, Ulama from reputed Madaris, representatives from R&Dorganizations and others.
